This miniature multi-step battery charger from Ideal Power has an auto shutdown feature when the battery is fully charged. This compact charger will charge lead acid batteries at a fast, normal and trickle rate. It is supplied with crocodile clip connectors for ease of use.

Q. I have read that lead acid batteries should not be charged at more than 25% of their capacity, e.g. 2A charge for 8Ah batteries. Is this charger suitable for charging smaller batteries?

A. Hi Steve. Thank you for your question. 2 amps appears to be the smallest charger we do at 24 volts. We do smaller 12v chargers but that would mean charging the batteries individually.
