A 5cm (2 inch) full-range speaker with a special basket design featuring two fixing lugs. The Visaton FRS 5 is suitable as a medium-range driver in speaker systems for Hi-Fi and background music and for 100V PA systems. Thanks to the slim construction, it is also suitable as a control speaker in electronic devices.

Typical applications include very narrow network column speakers, control speaker for electronic devices, model construction, and electronic musical instruments.
