Q. Is it best to clean irons cold or hot with this product?

A. Hi Steve. Thank you for your question. This product is ideally suited to general PCB use, if used on solder tips they would need to be cold, but this may be too abrasive. To clean solder tips we recommend a dedicated product as such 85-0554.
