The Fluke SMFT-1000/LITE multifunctional PV analyzer checks whether PV systems are safe to operate. The SMFT-1000/LITE is designed for PV professionals who install, commission, and maintain systems up to 1000 VDC. It offers a complete solution for PV systems, which fulfills the requirements of the standard IEC 62446-1-1.
Measurement data from installation and commissioning tests on solar systems can be imported, organized and analyzed without any problem with the Fluke TruTest™ software. This makes it easy to create reports without having to take a laptop to the location. The Fluke SMFT-1000/LITE is a significant addition to the Fluke Solar Multifunction Tester (SMFT) series, which is only one year after the successful market launch of the SMFT-1000/KIT and the SMFT-1000/PRO. The SMFT-1000/LITE is an answer to the specific requirements of solar installers who are looking for a safe, reliable and cost-effective solution for conducting IEC 62446-1 Category 1 tests on PV solar systems. Thanks to the colored test leads and the "Keep the Leads" function, the SMFT-1000/LITE can perform the mandatory safety tests automatically in less than 30 seconds, in accordance with the international standard for PV systems IEC 62446-1.
This includes checking the polarity, the continuity of the protective conductors (RLO), the open-circuit voltage (VOC), the short-circuit current (ISC) and the insulation resistance (RIN). The SMFT-1000/LITE version comes with the essential accessories specifically designed for the mandatory safety tests, while offering the flexibility to extend the test possibilities by adding additional accessories. The SMFT-1000/LITE retains the same mainframe as the KIT and PRO versions, so that the functionality can be easily extended without the need for firmware updates. Users can easily add accessories such as the i100 pliers for function and efficiency testing of the inverter or the IRR2-BT for precise I-U curve tracking and evaluation. The SMFT-1000/LITE is designed as a versatile and adaptable tool that grows with the changing testing requirements of solar experts.
