The Fluke 27 II Digital Multimeter defines a new standard for operating in harsh conditions, with the features and accuracy to troubleshoot most electrical problems. The meter has a IP 67 (waterproof and dustproof) rating and MSHA approvals.

It has an extended operating temperature range of -15°C to +55°C for up to 20 minutes and 95% humidity, and has been designed and tested to withstand a 3m drop. The Fluke 27 II has been built to work in the toughest environments.

Q. Why does this meter only test up to 2V in the diode test function? This rules out testing LEDs
A. Hi Tony, thank you for your question. This diode function is to test standard diodes for their depletion layer voltage in forward bias and shows nothing on a reverse bias to determine a good diode (page 25 of datasheet) and therefore is not suitable for testing LEDs apart from most red types. A dedicated LED tester is available here.
