145 Butyl Sealant is a traditional permanently plastic one component sealant based on polybutene that provides an effective weatherproof seal in a variety of exterior and interior applications. 145 Butyl Sealant forms a skin in 24 hrs but remains permanently plastic underneath. The sealant accommodates joint movement of +/- 5%, is over paintable and exhibits good UV and chemical resistance.

Sign InI received this item promptly, and very pleased with the performance of it I used it to seal the rear lights of my Vauxhall Vectra Hatchback, that had been allowing water into the boot for some time. and all previous attempt at sealing them had failed. After using this Sealant, the car has been left out in some heavy rainstorms with no apparent leaking so far, and a dry boot area (AT LAST!)
