Q. We are specifying cable entry size as M20 X 1.5 in transmitter. So 1). whether M20 is there for gland(as per metric only M20)? 2). In M20 how many sub divisions for example M20S,M20L.. 3).On which basis we can select correct gland size? 4).Can you tell me standards for gland?
A. Hi we offer cable glands that are M20S and M20L. The difference between them is the range of cable sizes that it will accept and maintain its IP68 rating. M20S is 6-10mm Dia and M20L is 10-14mm Dia. When specifying a gland, you need to consider the gland size required to fit the cable you are using and the entry thread required to fit the equipment into which you are fitting the gland.
