A. Hi Melissa, thank you for your question. It may not be suitable with the supplied engraving tip, you may need to upgrade to a Diamond tip for glass - 85-0519.

Q. Hi, I was wondering if the Engraver is suitable for stone work as well, particularly slate and granite engraving?

A. Hi Nicolas, thank you for your question. With the diamond tip (85-0519) Dremel quote suitable for ceramics, no mention of slate or granite I would think the device would struggle to get a starting point on these materials.
