These 1G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables are designed to support connections for 1 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet switches with 1 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet uplink, much more faster than SFP which only supports 2.5 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet. With two cable models including the DEM-CB1S and DEM-CB3S, these cables are suitable for short distances up to 3 metres, and is ideal for highly cost-effective networking connectivity between switches and servers within a rack or in adjacent racks. These 1G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables are certified to be compatible with D-Link products to provide you best performance and reliability.

Ideal for High-Bandwidth Operations
These D-Link 1G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables support speeds of up to 1 Gbps, while having lower latency and power consumption than other cables types such as 1GBASE-CX4 and CAT6/CAT6A 1GBASE-T. This makes it an optimal solution for handling high bandwidth transmission within short distances such as inside energy-efficient data centres.

Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable Format
These D-Link 1G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables use Enhanced Small Form- factor Pluggable format (SFP+) connectors. The SFP+ form factor is smaller than other form factors such as Xenpak, X2, and 1G XFP, resulting in lower costs, lower power disruption, and higher port density. Meanwhile SFP+ connectors use the same space-per-port as standard SFP connectors but support higher data transmission speeds.

Save on Costs
These D-Link 1G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables feature SFP+ connectors on
both ends, thus eliminating the need for expensive SFP+ transceivers. This makes it more
cost-effective than fibre cables which must use SFP+ transceivers.
