This 10W 0.4A DIN rail mounting 24V DC power supply is from the Comatec PSM series of high efficiency SMPS. The PSU uses the latest switching technology to give a unit that is ideal for use in industrial automation applications, as well as for use in laboratory and for commercial and domestic use and where compact dimensions and long-term reliability are required.

The design of the PSU enables it to start with zero load and maintain the output voltage to within 0.5% of rated value. The unit works well in constant current mode, during overload up to full short circuit and can be maintained in these states indefinitely without damage of degradation in performance, a feature especially useful for starting loads with high inrush current or great capacitive load. High stability enables the PSU to work well with rapidly changing loads and during start up, without ringing or overshoot.
