CK Tools T4857 Precision Trimming Tool Set Of 10

As age is taking is toll on both my sight & dexterity, this is compounded by components getting smaller(SMD!!!) The C&K Trimmer set eases the problems by having a slotted "hollow" flat-tip trimmer bit types. Just slip the selected tool over the slot and adjust away...No more slipping, the same applies to SMD trimmers. An added bonus is that the tools are neither Magnetic or Conductive and as such there is no local effects. Makes me wonder why I never used them before this.

I purchased this set of alignment tools mainly because I didn't have a tool to adjust miniature Murata type trimmer capacitors, having looked at the close up picture I thought out of 10 tools one of them should fit but alas not one of them did! Having said that, this is a very useful set of tweekers and are very good for adjusting dust iron slug cores in RF coils which easily fracture if you use the wrong (metal) tool. so 4 stars because of that and if you're still looking for a miniature trimmer cap tool then get a 68-0825 trimming tool and chamfer the bladed end with a stanley knife! - works great!
