The Weicon Wire Stripper No. 7-R is an automatic wire stripper for mainly round cables (as commonly used in many european countries). The special tracing system adjusts automatically to the wire diameter and allows quick and accurate cable and wire stripping.


  • Precise adjustment (5-fold) on various cable types and diameters
  • Round cables: Cable and wire stripping of flexible cables in the range 0.5mm2 to 16.0mm2 (20-6 AWG). Solid conductors from 0.5mm2 to 10.0mm2 (20-8 AWG).
  • Flat cables: Cable and wire stripping of two-core flat cables with PVC insulation from 0.75mm2 to 1.5mm2
  • Manufactured from fibre glass reinforced Polyamide 6.6 to ensure robust body
  • Slim tongs at the end enable access to confined spaces
  • Incorporates a side cutter (max. 3mm diameter)
  • Visible length scale (8 to 24mm and 5/16 to 3/4in.)
