This ALPS STEC11 metal shaft incremental rotary encoder is vertical mounting and has a momentary push switch function. These rotary encoders have a small footprint and highly accurate sliding contacts. Applications include volume control in AV equipment, menu selection for in-car navigation systems and other in-car devices. We also supply the STEC12 range and other encoders. A set of knobs specifically designed for rotary encoders is also available.

Q. Hello, These encoders appear to have a slotted shaft, but your recommended knobs from the Cliff range appear to be for splined shafts. I would be grateful for clarification. Many thanks

A. Hi Mr Norwood, thank you for your question. These Encoders with 6mm Metal Shaft do accept 6mm splined knobs.
