The ALPS STEC12 range of plastic shaft incremental rotary encoders is available in either vertical or horizontal form and the vertical encoder is available with a momentary push switch function. These rotary encoders have a small footprint and highly accurate sliding contacts.

Applications include volume control in mini hi-fi systems, AV equipment, mixing consoles and various in-car devices.
