The Basetech BT-305 is a continuously adjustable linear DC Power Supply with specifications and design/build quality that stretch beyond other PSUs in its price bracket.

Both output voltage and current limit can be set independently using the front mounted dials, including fine adjustment for voltage. The BT-305 has two easy to read LED displays, showing the voltage and current output, even when the PSU's output is Off.

Automatic switching between constant voltage and constant current mode, and infinitely adjustable current limiting and output voltage make this power supply unit the perfect entry level model for hobby and model construction.

Nice bit of kit but.....

Not rated for continuous use at high current at low voltage. The heat sink gets very hot. Transformed with a computer type fan which of course need power. Temperature drops over 20 deg C with a simple fan. Why didn't they design it from outset with a fan?

It is a very good Bench Power Supply, Upto to 5 Amps, Nice Dvm's which are most accurate.
