This resistance thermometer is embedded in a sleeved and jacketed assembly to give a sensor that combines the accuracy of a resistance thermometer with the benefits of a jacketed thermocouple. The optimised design strikes the best balance between accuracy and a robust, protected construction. The sensor has a 4-wire connection that increases measurement accuracy. The fast response and high accuracy makes the sensor suitable for use in pressurised and vacuum applications and for critical applications and typical application areas include laboratory systems, science and research, demanding industrial applications, cryogenics and cooling systems, plant manufacture, etc.
