<P>A 48W temperature controlled soldering station with push-button temperature selection and a digital display.</P><P>The station has been specially designed to prevent the generation of voltage spikes and surges that could damage electro-static susceptible components. The station uses a 24V soldering iron and has a built-in soldering iron stand with a tip-cleaning sponge mounted in a drawer that can be closed when the station is not in use.</P>

Q. Hi, what extraction system would you recommend for using with this piece of equipment. many thanks.

A. Hi James, thank you for your question. For normal soldering a well ventilated area is all that is required, however, for a more comfortable environment the same manufacturer produces a bench fume extractor (85-5922).
