Butane gas-powered soldering iron. Fitted with a hot air tip and deflector, the iron's tough nylon body contains a gas reservoir which can hold sufficient fuel for approximately two hours continuous use before refilling, with gas ignition by means of a built-in piezo lighter. The tip temperature is variable, and regulated by a nylon gas flow adjuster at the base of the unit.
Applications Include heavy-duty soldering, localised brazing, heat shrink tubing, lead work repairs, cutting and sealing nylon rope.
