The Amprobe TL35B test lead set contains two insulated lead wires with two threaded probe tips and two threaded crocodile clips. for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device in electrical testing applications. Sign InQ. Hello, please forgive if this is too simple a question, Im new to electronics. I have a multimeter with probe ends. Im looking at these and thinking it will give me a choice of probes or crocodile clips. Can you explain how these work, do the crocodile clips just slot on the ends of the probes? Again, apologies if its a daft question, its just I can see the adantages of probes and clips.
