The Alpha Wire 6714 GY001 is a high-performance hook-up wire from the EcoWire® series, designed for environmentally conscious applications without compromising electrical integrity. It features a 20 AWG stranded conductor made of tinned copper (10 strands of 30 AWG), providing flexibility and reliable conductivity. The wire is insulated with modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE), a halogen-free thermoplastic known for its excellent dielectric strength and reduced environmental impact.

This wire is rated for 600 volts and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and electronic applications. The insulation has a nominal diameter of 1.40 mm and a thickness of 0.23 mm, contributing to its compact profile. The jacket is coloured green with a yellow stripe, aiding in circuit identification and compliance with wiring standards.

The 6714 GY001 is supplied on a 1000-foot (305 metre) spool and complies with UL Style 11028, RoHS3, and REACH standards. It is ideal for use in control panels, instrumentation, and internal wiring of electronic equipment.
