Really great value
Bought this to do projects for the air museum I volunteer at - making the cockpits 'come allive' The value of these project kits and the great documentation is second to none. Have used several kits built around the 555 chip all worked great and have modified some to get different funtionality. The difficulty for any museum is to keep the exhibits working - no one wants to see 'out of order' placards. These kits mean I can build several kits in advance with very low capital costs and if one does go u/s anyone can get a spare from the cupboard and using a screwdriver only - can replace a non working unit. I always leave 1 LED on each board to allow anyone to diagnose which board is faulty (I use some in tandem (output of one board is the input to another board - to get the multiple functionality required) and replace it. At this cost - just throw away the faulty board. Incidentally - I have had no failures to date.
