This black Scotch™ 2228 Rubber Mastic Tape from 3M is particularly suitable for instant installation of insulation and sealing and forms self-fusing wrapping sites. Made from ethylene-propylene-elastic gum (EPR) coated with temperature stable mastic, this tape has execellent dielectric properties and is ozone and UV-resistant. It is resistant to moisture and therefore is suitable for some outdoor applications.
