You can use Scotch® 969 ATG adhesive transfer tape from 3M™ as a safe alternative to hot melt adhesives. It features high initial adhesion and good holding power to a variety of materials including most plastics. This is an acrylic, reverse wound, pressure sensitive adhesive on a densified kraft paper liner and has been designed for use with Scotch® adhesive applicators such as the ATG 700 gun (available as Rapid part 87-8038).
The ATG tape system is a cost-effective replacement for rivets, staples, screws, bolts and liquid adhesives and bonds quickly on contact.
