Use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X2 Encapsulating Protector for powerful hearing protection against moderate to high noise levels. The electrically insulated design with double head bracket reduces heat build-up on the head, and the plastic coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust 3M has to offer. It is both strong and comfortable, since the wide flat head bracket has a soft plastic coating which exerts a stable pressure on the head. No exposed metal means that the product is "dielectric" and provides electrical resistance for applications with a risk of sparks or charges. Carefully shaped valves ensure that the ear caps protection can be adjusted easily on the head. Wide, soft foam insulation cushions make employees feel comfortable, while the narrow ear caps provide improved compatibility with other safety equipment. The 3M Peltor X2 hearing protector reduces noise by up to 31 dB and is yellow colour-coded, so that the selection of the right protection level from the X series becomes very easy. The pads and foam inserts are available in the form of hygiene kits that can be easily replaced if damaged or worn. This ensures a longer product life. Also available with helmet fixing or neck strap.
