The lightweight, anti-static 3M™ protective suit 45453XL made of polyethylene features high freedom of movement and good wearing comfort. Its material is extremely durable and robust as well as low-lint thanks to the special layer combination of soft spin fleece fibres and a polyethylene laminate film. Knitted cuffs, elasticated waist and ankles make the wearer more comfortable and increase freedom of movement, while the ultra-low linting material reduces environmental contamination. Its 3 panel hood design is compatible with additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). The 2-way zips and fully sealable storm flaps reduce the risk of skin exposure and protect from contaminants. Strong stitched and partially bound seams reduce the risk of leakage and skin exposure and can offer improved strength.. The 3M™ Protective suit 4545 provides protection against hazardous dust (Type 5), light liquid splashes (Type 6) and radioactive contaminated particles (EN 1073-2:2002). Its areas of application include asbestos inspection, insulation, asbestos disposal, cement production, grinding and polishing, Light industrial cleaning, machine maintenance, working in the pharmaceutical industry, paint spraying and coating as well as clean room applications. It has the size 2XL and the colour white. The protective suit is vacuum-packed – for a space-saving storage.
