Q. Can it engrave brass?

Q. The da Vinci 1.0 pro says it is a printer scanner and laser engraver. Yet you sell the laser engraver separately. It is included in the basic machine as suggested? Is the laser scanner included in the basic machine? Is the print bed heated? To what temperature? Is it self calibrating for height? What mechanism does it use to move the head?
A. Hi Andrew, thank you for your question. This is a 3 in 1 system so included is the laser engraver 3D printer and scanner. The aluminium bed is heated. The maximum temperature is 110°C. The machine is described as having 'assisted calibration'. The machine takes the measurements, provides the readings and the operator turns the wheels to make the adjustments. There is a tooth belt on X and Y and a screw on the Z.
