Sign InQ. i want to solder a socket onto the display (2 x 7 pin IDC ?). What plug would be suitable ?
A. Hi Vince, thank you for your question. As the pins are on a 2.54 pitch grid, a 14 way IDC or PCB socket would work: unfortunately we don’t currently offer a suitable product but it is possible to remove the last three rows from 19-0285 with care.
