A. Hi Ablai. Thank you for your question. The contact hole pitch for this is 2.54mm so in theory yes it can - but you would require suitable headers to add to the display to make contact.

Q. Are any of the backlit modules still clearly readable with the backlight turned off? Is 57-2226 (transflective, backlit), for example, still as readable as the non-backlit, reflective 57-2224 when the backlight is turned off? I'm interested in a display that can be used just as well with or without a backlight. Are any of these suitable?

A. Hi Andy, thanks for your question. Yes 57-2226 would be suitable. This is readable in light, the backlight is only needed when ambient light is low.

A. Thanks for your enquiry. A Red, Green and Blue mixed together make the white light.

Q. Will this device work with the Atmel 89C51CC03 Microcontroller?

A. The processor should have enough power to make the LCD work, but the you would have the responsibility of writing the software accordingly.

Q. will this LCD work ok with Genie pic.

A. Thanks for your enquiry Declan. It's unlikely that Genie could be configured to produce the necessary outputs for this display – however product code 13-6026 is specifically designed for this purpose.
