Q. In the description it says that temperatures can be set precisely, however it is not apparent from the illustration, just where the temperature scale is located. Is the thumb-wheel calibrated? At this price I would have expected a readout of some type or at least a proper calibrated rotary knob.

A. Hi Barry, thank you for your question. As this is an analogue station, the only way to set the temperature to a precise setting would be with the use of a soldering iron thermometer. If you need a soldering station with a read out, we would suggest 85-5702.

A. Hi James. Thank you for your question. This analogue soldering station includes the UK mains plug: "Includes analogue power unit with UK plug, soldering iron with nickel-plated 2.0 mm tip and iron".
