The Voltcraft VC-850 Digital Multimeter is a sturdy, reliable, practical piece of equipment that is safe for the user.
This professional multimeter has a patented casing construction that allows it to be opened for changing the battery and the fuses, only when the device has been disconnected from all measuring leads.
At input voltages of > 30V, a warning symbol appears in the display. The unique safety concept is rounded off by a sturdy casing with sprayed soft-rubber protection, the 1000V high power fuses, the warning tone when the measurement lines are connected incorrectly as well as the impedance switchover reducing the input resistance by pressing the key to prevent erroneous measurement through stress-voltage.
An optical electronic interface belongs to this device, approved for measuring over-voltage category CAT IV 600V and is tested according to EN-61010. Temperature measurement and real-effective value-measurement (True RMS) complete the design.
