Deep groove ball bearings from UBC accept radial and axial forces and are suitable for high rotational speeds. Because of their constructional features, deep groove ball bearings are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are heat treated, so can be used in operating temperatures of up to 150 °C. Shields on both sides protect the inner part of the bearings from the ingress of dirt and other foreign bodies. If the outer ring rotates however, these bearings achieve no more than 40% of the maximum speed rating. These bearings are greased for life and therefore maintenance-free.

Sign InQ. Hi, I'm thinking of bolting these with a M5 bolt to a surface that needs to freely move back and forth. Probably silly question, but would this work given the Bore dia is 5mm? Also I take it these are 5mm width, with an overall dia of 16mm ? Sorry if these are newbie questions, Mike.
A. Hi Mike, thank you for your question. These would take a M5 bolt through the centre, they may need a washer on top to securely hold them in place.
