Q. How do I extract the cable from the body of the USB 4 port hub so as to connect it to my laptop? Many thanks, Peter.

A. Hi Peter, thanks for your question. It is very easy to unwind the cable. The USB connector at the end of the lead fits into the separate USB port at the side of the hub, so you can just unplug the connector.
