20 January 2014 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 55-2224
Q. I have a led power supply 0-3w constant dc current 350ma 6v...12v. Will this driver be suitable ?
A. Hi Colin. Thank you for your question. You will need to use 55-2226.

30 January 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 55-2224
Q. Can this unit unit work with an electronic transformer for halogen. I am thinking of replacing all halogen to LED. Halogen transformers are rated output DC11,5 V?
A. Hi Flemming. Thank you for your question. This should be fine to do as the voltages are the same. It would depend on the current draw as these only supply 300ma maximum.

18 May 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 55-2224
Q. How many 3w led modules will 55-2226 drive? is it one per module? Thanks
A. Hi David. 3 should be ok but as it is constant current you can add a few. However, the more you add the dimmer they will get as the current load is split between the amount of leds eg. 700 / 4 =175 per led approximately.

03 May 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 55-2224
Q. I have a LED unit which consists of 3 LED's wired up in parrallel. The unit is rates at 7W and I am looking to not drive it to its max as I want it to be more than 50% dimmer. I would like to under-drive the unit. Will the 55-2224 work? I've used a PowerPax 12V 2W 350mA driver for this and it works perfectly fine, so I am assuming this will also work fine?
A. Hi John, the thing about constant current drivers is that the voltage can vary – but not the current – so if the unit requires 600ma normally – this would work.
