This Texas Instruments CD4516B presettable binary up/down counter IC is supplied in a DIL-16 package. A part of the CMOS 4000 range. The 4516 counter consists of four synchronously clocked d-type flip-flops connected as counters, medium speed operation, synchronous internal carry propagation, reset and preset capability, standardized, symmetrical output characteristics.
