Q. Hi, by locking does this mean I can remove the female knurled nut to expose the male thread to screw into a microphone belt clip transmitter thus locking the jack plug in place? Hope you understand this. Thank you, Jim.
A. Hi Jim. Thank you for your question. The plug has a ring that has a thread. The plug is designed to screw onto the mounting thread of a suitable socket such as 20-0131. They only lock onto that type of socket. The panel thickness must be small to allow some thread to extend from the socket once the nut is in place.
