Q. Can this be Triggered by a 5V pin from an arduino?
A. Hi Brendan, thank you for your question. It should be compatible with a 5V source but would ideally need a 10K resistor in between the source and gate pins.

Q. Hello, is this N-FET suitable to use with MAX608 Chip to output approx 5V 500mA? http://datasheets.maximintegrated.com/en/ds/MAX608.pdf Thank you.
A. Hi Geo. Thank you for your question. This N-FET should be suitable - it has a 60v output so will easily handle the 5v input.
Used these MOSFETs to allow a Codebug to switch a 12V 1A LED lamp. Worked a treat, FET does not get warm. Parts arrived in the post very quickly.
