The 35FCREADBU3 multimedia card reader from StarTech.com supports 18 different memory card formats and fits into a spare 3.5in drive bay. Using USB 3.0, the card reader supports UHS-II to greatly increase your file transfer rates allowing you to copy large files such as photos or 4K videos, back up files or offload data to and from your memory cards.
The card reader supports High Capacity (HC) and eXtended Capacity (XC) cards and most standard memory cards, including Secure Digital (Standard Card, HC card, XC card, MMC, Mini SD with adaptor), Micro SD Standard card, HC card, XC card, Compact Flash (CF I or II, CF 6.0), Memory Stick (Standard, Pro, Duo, Pro Duo, Pro-HG, XC, Micro MS with adaptor.
The card reader is USB powered from an internal USB header and has a USB pass-through socket so that you don't lose one of your ports. USB 3.0 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1, and supports fast file transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, allowing you to take advantage of new, higher performance memory cards.
