The Siemens 3RV1011-1JA10 SIRIUS Circuit Breaker can be used as Type E self-protected manual combination starters per UL508, or as components in Group Installation to turn motors on and off. The device has a built-in heater element that provides overload protection and magnetic trip elements to protect the motor. When the 3RV is used as a component in a Group Installation, multiple MSP's (Motor Starter Protectors) can be installed below one circuit breaker to protect its own motor. A contactor can be mounted to the MSP to provide a remotely operated starter.

The 690V 50/60Hz 7.00-10.00A Circuit Breaker can used to protect three-phase motors to 45kW at 400V AC. The circuit breaker 3RV1 can be used with its short-circuit and overload protection for motor protection, transformer protection and system protection.
The circuit breaker can guarantee safe disconnection in the event of a short circuit, and protect loads and the system from overload. It is also suitable for normal switching duty with loads that have a small number of switching operations as well as for reliable isolation of the equipment from the supply system.
