A. Hi Mark, thank you for your question. A Philips number 1 screwdriver would be required.
Q. What is the rang of motion for this please?
A. Hi Mark, thank you for your question. The servo can rotate approximately 180 degrees (90 in each direction).
Q. How long is the wire?
A. Hi Deo, thank you for your question. The servo wire is approximately 25cm long.
Q. Do you supply extension leads/connectors for this product?
A. Hi Derek. Thank you for your question. This mini servo comes with the connector for connecting to the radio control receiver, no other connectors are supplied. We do not have anything to extend them separately unfortunately.
I bought a pair of these miniature servos for actuating points on my model train layout - I wanted to build a slow-action point motor, and didn't want to buy existing products - where's the fun in that!? I prototyped the mechanism with my Arduino, and after achieving success first time, built it into my custom controllers that I use for signalling + track circuits. The device itself is perfect, it mounts nicely into my baseboard, and is very easy to control. Much cheaper than an off-the-shelf solution - and much more satisfying.
Works a treat Really pleased with it, will buy many more
