Q. I have a 3.15amp 250v fuse in my desk's extension lead at work, but I don't know whether it's an Antisurge fuse or a Quick blow fuse. What's the difference? What do you think I would need?
A. Hi Steve, a slow-blow or anti-surge fuse is one that accepts relatively high currents for a short time without blowing, for example in appliances including a motor. As your extension lead is in all likelihood for desktop applications then you would probably just need a standard quick blow fuse.
