Q. Hi, could you tell me if the waterproof casing prevents water into the hole the switch is clipped into, or just seals the middle part of the switch itself. Thanks

A. Hi Dan. Thank you for your question. This stops water entering the switch. To seal the body into the pane, I would suggest silicone sealant around the rear of the switch once inserted into the hole.
