Q. Are these non latching?
A. Hi Paul. Thank you for your question. These are momentary action push switches. 78-1550 is a push to make type, the contacts are only made when the switch is pushed and held and broken as soon as the pressure is removed.

Q. How sturdy are these switches? Could they survive being pressed hard repeatedly?
A. Hi these will withstand being pressed hard repeatedly to a point, however these are not designed to be heavy duty.
