The CMPS12 is a 4th generation tilt compensated compass that uses a 3-axis magnetometer, a 3-axis gyro and a 3-axis accelerometer, giving accurate, high resolution outputs. The heart of the compass is the Bosch BNO055 that runs algorithms that remove the errors caused by tilting of the PCB.
