PJU Series IP66 Type 4X GRP Junction Box and Inner Mounting Panel

The Hammond PJU Series of Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Junction Boxes are designed for use as an instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.
They provide insulation and watertight protection to IEC 60529, IP66, where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise become very wet.
Ideal for use in applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

The moulded fibreglass polyester enclosures with matching doors, can be easily punched, cut, or drilled.
They comes in a light grey finish and feature enhanced UV inhibitors to protect against outdoor weathering.
The enclosure doors are supported by a moulded hinge, secured with a stainless steel pin.
Snap Latch door fasteners, which include provision for the addition of a padlock are used to secure the doors.
The enclosure doors are fitted with a captive, oil resistant gasket, which provides a seal when the door is closed.
10-32 threaded brass inserts are provided on the inside rear of the enclosures, together with mounting hardware, to enable fitting of an optional internal mounting panel.
10-32 threaded brass inserts and stainless steel flanges are provided at the rear of the enclosures for fixing of foot-mount brackets. Mounting hardware is included.
Multi-directional mounting of the enclosures is possible, using the Polycarbonate foot-mount brackets provided.

Optional Hammond Inner Mounting Panels are manufactured from 14 gauge (2mm thick) steel with a white powder coated finish and are pre-drilled with holes for mounting.
