Q. This isn't quite clear to me; does this product switch a set of contacts on and then vary the resistance between them or is the switch electrically separate from the resistor? I was planning to use it as a power switch and volume control in conjunction with the tda2030 amp. Thanks in advance.
A. Hi Tim. Thank you for your question. This is a switched 10K linear potentiometer which can act as an on/off switch and a potenetiometer, however for an audio volume potentiometer they are normally logarithmic in action like 65-1512.
