Olimex PIC-KIT3 Microchip Pickit3 Compatible Programmer / Debugger

The Olimex PIC-Kit3 is a economical programmer/debugger that has all the functionality of the Microchip PICKIT3. This device allows real-time background debugging of the target system and by adding an external power supply it becomes an in-circuit programmer (ICSP). It is compatible with the free MPLAB and MPLAB X software development environment from Microchip. Compiled software can be downloaded and stored on the PIC-Kit3 so that target systems can be programmed later without further use of a PC, this is known as programmer-to-go (PTG).
