Microchip DM163029 PICDEM Mechatronics

The PICDEM Mechatronics board is an easy-to-use development and demonstration platform that enables the assessment and development of intelligent control in a mechanical system using PIC microcontrollers. The kit encourages a hands-on approach to mechatronics, jumper leads are provided to allow the connection of an MCU to a number of components, such as sensors, LEDs, HID, and motor drivers. The kit comes with nine example projects that include firmware, connection diagrams and schematics.

Features of the kit include: a PIC16F917 MCU, 8x LEDs and LCD display, stepper motor and brushed DC motors, temperature sensor with analog output, 32.768kHz crystal, HID with 4x tactile switches, 2x pots, overcurrent protection circuit, ICSP programming capability and MPLAB ICD 2 interface connector, RS-232 interface, 5V regulator, optical speed sensor for DC motor, 20-pin socket, 9x example projects.
