A pair of self-contained LED light gates with 70mm gaps, designed primarily for timing the movement of objects.

When used with software, the light gates become a very powerful teaching tool as Acceleration, Kinetic energy, Speed and Time of objects can be studied.

Applications include: measurement of time interval, speed, velocity, acceleration, momentum, kinetic energy, simple harmonic motion and period counting. Can also be used as a tachometer to study propeller design and pendulum timing.

A. Hi James, thank you for your question. The dimensions are as follows: 107mm x 86mm x 17mm (L x H x D) made for ABS plastic. The instruction manual can be found here.
