The LINDY Fibre Optic HDMI® 4K Dongle Extender is an effective and reliable solution for extending UHD HDMI transmissions over incredible distances of up to 300m with a simplex LC OM3 or OM4 multi-mode (50/125µm) fiber optic cable.
The Extender can handle 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit signals up to 300m with an OM3 or OM4 cable, which decompress the video on the receiver and thus enable the distribution of visually loss-free UltraHD content. With support for HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG and Dolby Vision, content with improved contrast and a much larger color scale is displayed – perfect for a real home cinema experience or a striking digital signage in retail. HDCP 2.2 compatibility allows you to easily play protected 4K UHD content such as Blu-ray movies, TV shows, and streaming services.
The support of lossless audio formats like Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD brings in video contents a powerful multi-channel sound, which gives the viewer an improved realistic experience.
Using low-cost LC multimode fiber cables enables transmission of high bandwidth audio and video over incredible distances far above those achieved with traditional copper-based extension systems.
