This data logger from Lascar has been designed to interface with either a J, K or T type thermocouple, which is simply connected to the dedicated socket at the base of the unit. The unit is easily set-up by plugging into a PC, via the USB port, where parameters such as mode, logging rate, start time, and any downloads may be done.
The instrument will record over 32,000 readings at a rate of between 1 second and 12 hours and, when downloaded, data can be graphed, printed and exported to other applications via the supplied purpose designed software.
The high contrast LCD can show several different temperature variables. The user can cycle between these using the push button. The data logger is supplied complete with a long-life lithium battery, which can typically allow logging for up to 6 months.
